Calculate Your Bra Size

Enter your measurements to calculate

How to measure

You'll need a tape measure and an unpadded bra.

Put on the bra. Measure your circumference over the fullest part of your bust and the circumference directly under your bust. Make sure the tape is level with the floor all the way around your body. Don't tighten the tape too hard when you measure your bust size.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm getting a completely different size than usual. Is this correct?

Maybe!

A large percentage of women wear the wrong bra size. A common mistake is wearing a cup that is too small with a band that is too large.

The size above is calculated according to the European standard EN 13402, so it should be accurate. However, since every body is unique, no standard fits everyone perfectly. Additionally, calculated sizes become less reliable as they get larger. The best way to find your perfect fit is with the help of a professional fitter.

How is my size calculated?

Your underbust measurement is rounded to the nearest multiple of 5. This becomes your band size. The difference between your overbust and underbust measurements determines your cup size. A 10-12 cm difference is an AA cup, 12-14 cm is an A cup, 14-16 cm is a B cup, and so on.

Is this size used worldwide?

Not exactly.

The European standard is used in most of Europe and Japan. France, Belgium, and Spain use a variation of this standard, and Italy uses another.

In the UK, the band size is measured in inches. They also change cup sizes every inch (2.54 cm), whereas we change every 2 cm. They also have a DD size between D and E.

In the US and Canada, the system is similar to the UK, but cup sizes change every 1.5 inches. This means labels differ between systems; for example, a US D-cup often corresponds to a European E-cup.
